London Feby 10 1774
Sir.
Your kind favours of 5th Novr. and 2ne Decr
came duly to Hand, and have observed the contents
I am well convinced of the many difficulties attending
the collecting of Money as I have corroborating
proofs of it every Day in this part of the World.
As to Carter Braxton and Col Burwell
shall leave their affairs intirely to your self, not
doubting but you will take such Measures as
will bring them to a speedy Settlement.
Your kind Order shall be punctually
executed and when Callicos Cambricks or any other
Articles in the Linnen Trade are wanting -
shall be much obliged to you for your favours
as you may depend none shall accomodate
you on lower terms.

Mrs. Jones returns you many thanks for your
intended present of a Red Bird but the poor creature
dy'd before he made this port.
Mrs. Jones and Family join in

Gould Square are well. The London is safe
arrived and I believe will be ready to Sail this
