This item was sent by Thomas Everard in a letter to John Norton, merchant of London, England. Everard has sent a clipping from a newspaper advertising Joseph Priestley's book, An essay on the first principles of governement and the nature of political, civil and religious liberty. Everard requests Norton send a copy to him in Virginia.
