Dear Sir,

Mr. Claiborne has made no settlement
with me in your business. I cou'd wish that you
wou'd negociate the note with him yourself -
I will [see] what can be done in the suit of Taylor
but can say nothing of it present -

Be so good as to remember me to Mrs. N. &c.
