Richmond. 12th May 1785
Sir,
I momently expect your Goods,they were Shipping the Last advices.
Not till within this Week has a
single Package of Spring goods arrived
for the Merchants here &c - I shall
on my return home write to Mr G.
Norton particularly, believe the goods
will be Landed at Alexandria, and
that your Letters will be under the
care of Mr. Josiah Watson - this
is from memory - I am Very Respectf
