Richmond. 12^th May 1785

Sir,

I momently expect your Goods,
they were Shipping the Last advices.
Not till within this Week has a
single Package of Spring goods arrived
for the Merchants here &c - I shall
on my return home write to M^r G.
Norton particularly, believe the goods
will be Landed at Alexandria, and
that your Letters will be under the
care of M^r. Josiah Watson - this
is from memory - I am Very Respectf
