Dear Sir

Mr. Pendleton informs me
that he has received Instructions from
you to bring suit against me, for
theMoney, I owe you, unless 'tis
paid by a certain Day; now as
this can answer no other Purpose
than takeing my Person for the Debt,
you may save yourself the Trouble,
& me the Expence, of a Suit, for, when
ever you chuse it, I will confess a
Judgement, & you may proceed as
you think proper; could I possibly
command the Money, or had I any
Kind of Property that would sell
or as much, you should never have
made a second Demand; but as my
Situation is undoubtedly such as I
have described, I hope you will wait
some Time longer with me; & as soon
as I have it in my Power, you
