Virginia June 8th. 1770

Mess.rs. John Norton & Son

Gent

My last was the 2nd May covering Invoice
of three years a Coppy of wch. You have here Inclosed, If
this comes to hand in time it will be agreeable to
have the last Gun abt. 2 or 3 Inches longer and the
four foot Gun at abt. a Guiney higher price then
is directed in the Invoice. As you will advance the
Money for these Guns, shall not be agst. alowing
Interest on the same the time you lie out of it
and shall be much obliged to you to send them as
soon as posiable; Yours p the Brilliant has come to
Hand and note the contents, Mr Norton has orders
for 100 hhds of my Tobo. to be Consign'd you in
said Ship and remain with great regard
