Dr Sr

Having seen some Books, which
you sent into Mr Wythe, & which were very well bought, I have taken the Liberty,
to inclose a List of some Authors which you will oblige me to send in to me
by the first opportunity, so that I may have them if possible by April.

I spoke to your Son & told him that he shoul'd have either the value of them in Money or Tobo
next Summer which I hope will be satisfactory to you.

Worral the Bookseller in Bell yard near Lincolns Inn has all the
Books I want; & they may easily be collected in the Shops near
the Temple. According to my Estimation the whole will not exceed
thirty Pounds Sterling.

Your Compliance will very much oblige Dr Sr
Your most obedt Serv
John Randolph

Decr. 16, 1770

I don't know but John Worrals residence is near Temple Bar.
