Sir.
It would give me great pleasure to
do any thing in the business of your letter of the 4th which
would not involve me with Mr. Reeve, who as I informed
you has left me no distinction. If however it will
oblige or serve you, and you will confess judgment
at the next term, I shall suspend further proceedings
till Octr next relying on your promise of payment
at that time. If this is agreeable you will be
pleased to shew this letter to my lawyer for his
government in the case.
