George Wythe letter to John Norton, merchant in London. Wythe writes that he has given 37 pounds, 10 shillings to John Hatley Norton and that 30 pounds of that should be credited to his account. In addition, he is sending 4 hogsheads tobacco to Norton in London. Wythe requests a number of items for himself and his wife including balloting glasses, a wig and lasting shoes. He notes that Mr. Waldron may be sending black Manchester velvet breeches and a suit of fine clothes "fit for our hot summers" along with a silk waistcoat and breeches.
