Virginia August. 1. 1768
Sir:
This comes by the Marlbro Capt. Quincy by the way of Liverpoole
I Recd. yours by Capt. Robinson, and am glad to here we may Expect an
End to our Law Suit this Summer. I shall take it as a Particular Favour
If you will Lett me here from you as soon as their is an End to it.
If we can gett the Decree before Feby. Next we May Can Take Possesion
of the Est. otherways we shall be Oblige'd to Stay till the Next Crop
is Finished, Capt. Denison keeps the hool Est. much to the Disadvantage
us all, If the Letter Shou'd come any were to the Northward I shou'd Receive
it by Post. I shall do Every thing in my Power to Assist Capt. Robinson
in his Load. But I Flatter myself when my Little Brother in
Law comes to his Part of the Est. We shall be Able to make you
Retaliation for you Trouble we are a Little Concern'd with a
Company Called the Mississippia Company and I Cant Tell But
I shall be Oblige to draw a Little order on you to Pay his Part
But If I Can Avoid it I will not, If I shoud shall send Tob. in Capt.
Robinson. to Pay it. I am with Great Regard
