Dr Sir

The Br of this Mr Jones a very honest Mechanic
informs me of his intention to purchase of you
a Journeyman Barber - should you think
proper to let him have the Sert. I dare believe
there would be no Danger of his not being
punctual in his payment - but to render you
entirely secure on that score - I hereby promise
to render myself responsible in case of a failure
on his side -. I heartily congratulate you
on yr. safe arrival into Virginia. And anti
cipate the pleasure of seeing you ere long
at College - I remain with much Esteem
