Description
An account of the resource
Williamsburg printer John Dixon letter to John Norton merchant of London concerning the accounts of Williamsburg printer Joseph Royle who had passed away in 1766. Dixon writes that there is an open account against Norton on Royle's books that he wants settled but on making application to Edward Cary he was informed that Royle had not paid Norton for the fire engine. Dixon believes that account had been settled. Dixon writes that he has enclosed a recent issue of the Virginia gazette.
