John Lewelling letter to John Norton, merchant in London, England. Lewelling writes that he has shipped one hogshead of tobacco to Norton on the Brilliant commanded by Moses Robertson. Lewelling lists a number of goods including worsted rugs, blankets, Nails, broad hoes, hats and Irish linen which he would like Norton to provide.

I have shipt you one hhd of Tobacco in the ship Brilliant
Cap^t. Moses Robertson Commander, which I hope you'll do the best
you can for me in the Sale. If my Tobacco should be sold before
the return of your ship please to send me the following Good

1 Worstead Rug                   at 15/.
1 p^s bed blankets                 a 15/. [illegible]
6 strip't blankets                   a 4/.
5 m 10^d Nails
1 doz bro hoes N^o. 4. Welded Eyes. let these hoes be put in a Cask
