Virginia August 3d. 1775
Sr
I could not send you any Tobacco this year. I was obligd to pay my Debts
with it but when Matters are settled as I hope they will be soon I intend
God willing to send you some Tobacco and I shall be greatly obligd to
you when matters are settled if you will send me the Folowing Articles
80 Ells of Brown Leing one peace of [illegible] Do att 1 ss p yard one Do.
at one shilling p yard 12 Broad Hoes 6 Do. Narrow and you will
