Gentlemen

I received a letter from you some time ago advising me of your having received six
hhds of Tobo in the London Capt Robertson last year, safe & in good condition consigned you by
me, & expected before now my Acct of Sales, as I informed that many Accts have arrived here two
months ago from your house for Tobo shipped at the same time with mine. Perhaps you may have
sent in my Acct likewise, but your letter may have been lost or miscarried in the Country, as frequently
happens in these troublesome times. You will be so good therefore as to send me my Acct by the first
opportunity that may occur: meanwhile I have drawn upon you for twelve pounds in favour of
Mr Francis Skene. It was not in my power to ship any Tobo in the London this present year, being
disappointeed in a considerable quantity I expected to receive I am
