From some Accident the letter Covering
Account Sales of the four hhds Toba. Shipd. in the
London Capt. Robinson in 1774 by me, has miscarrd:
it was seen to be in the post Office & [crossed out, illegible] at
Hobbs-hole & remain there for some time, my being
from home at that time it was taken out by some
person or islost, supposed to be lost. I have made
every necessary enquiry after it & can hear nothing
of it. I therefore must beg the favor of you to
send me a Copy of the same as also an Acct. Curt.
