Gentn.

Your very obliging favor of 22d. Ulto
inclosing acct. sales of tobo shippd you by my Bror last
Year and his Acct. Current I duly received. I observe
no credit for a hhd tobo shippd Mr. William Lee I think
in the Amity, that saild [torn, illegible] the London, an order for
the proceeds of which was sent you [torn, illegible]
more was to have gone in the London, but before they
got down she was loaded, the flatt was drove a
shore in a Gust (after laying along side the ship for
two days) and only that hhd saved out of the eight
I hope it has sold for a good price else we shall be
great losers - be pleased to get the proceeds from
Mr. Lee if you have not already done it - was
it not too much trouble would be glad you wd.
get the Acct. Sales & transmit me. There is
also a smal differance of 21/4 in the Money paid
Mr. J. H. H. You have credited them £300 recd.
of Him. My Borther has charged £200. at one
time and £101.1.4 at another. the differance I
imagine has arisen thro: a mistake in either Mr.
J. H. N or my Brother. Am much oblig:
:ed to you for your good wishes and kind offer to
serve me in any thing Consistent with your Ability

which I dar say I may have occasion for. am not yet
certain if I shall go for the W Indies - would willingly
hope the unhappy differances with the Collonies in
the Continent of America would be setled by the Spring
and should that be the case would prefer waiting.

The order from my Bror. have not yet sent as the
sum is blank. I wait to see what the balance
will be after you [torn, illegible] the proceeds of the hhd
to be consigned Mr. Lee. But unless I go into business
will not have occasion to take it out of your hands
with much respect am

Gentn.
Yr most obt. Servt.
