I Recd yours Dated 31st. March Last p Capt
Robinson Whearin you Disire my Assistance
in her Loading I am Very Sorry it is not
in my Power this year, I Asshour you I
have had the misfortain not to make half a
crop of Tobo. for one year, in Two years Last
Past which had Put me behind in Shiping
which hope you will wait Till a Nother year
when you May Depend I Shall Ship
Sufficant to Discharge the Ballance I owe you
which ought to have bin Paid Long a Go, I have
Planted a fine Crop this year, and if it Comes
in the house well, am in hops. of making
Good Crop, their is a Greait Cry about the
Cuntry of Tobaccos firing, and Tobo. is Smaller
in General this year then Ever I New it which
I believe is Occationd by the Coldness of the Sum
mer, at this Time hear it is Likely for a Dry
Spell which if it is will be Bad for Corn and Tobo
