Vira. York 30th May 1782

Dr Sir.

I had a Bale of Goods consisting
of 10 table Cloths shipt me in the Hancock
from Bourdeaux amounting to 278½ livres
which were directed to the care of
Willm. Bingham Esqr. of your City.
a Mr. Freeno promised me to have
the frieght settled & the Goods forwd.
to the head of Elk, but having
lately recd. a letter from Mr. Bingham
I suppose it has not been done.

Will you do me the favour to inquire
and if they are not forwarded, please
to settle the frieght & have the Bale
forwarded to Willm Neill Esqr. of
Baltimore, and as soon as you advise

either contrive it to you or pay it
to your order. I am with great regard
