Williamsburg Feby 4 1785

Sir

I Received your favours of the 4th
Decr last. inclosing an Order. for what might be due you.
from the Williamsburg Manufactory ~ I now inclose you
a state of it, with the last paid me & a Receipt for Weaving
making in the whole £42.8. exclusive of 21/9 charged
for Commission, so that you are in my debt this day £100.12.6
I do not understand that part of your letter where you say,
[Ba]llance between us might be liquidated and that you
would give me a fresh Bond - I conceive that the bond
I have already is quite sufficient and should be glad it
was discharged, you having kept me longer out of it than
I expected.

I am Sir
your most Humble Servt
Robt: Nicolson

N.B.
I hope you have not forgot that
you borrowed this money of me 24 June 1776
