Northampton COunty Octo. 8. 1785

Mr. John H Norton

Dear Sir

Your favor of 28th. July inclosing a Letter to
Colo. John Wilkins, with a State his account Currt. with Ino.
Norton & Sons, I received a few days ago via Baltimore; -
my indisposition since has prevented my waiting on that -
Gentlemen, & am sorry 'tis out of my power to give you any
satisfaction p this Opporty. respecting your business with him;
I can only at present inform you, that I hope my health
will in a day or two permit me to wait on Mr. Wilkins;
when you may be assured, every thing in my power shall
be done in this matter to your satisfaction. In 10 or 15 days
there will be anoter Conveyance to my Uncle in Baltimore,
when you may expect to hear very fully from me on the
subject of your business here. In the interim, please
present my Compliments to my old acquaintance Daniel
& believe me to be with respect
