Randolph writes he is pleased to hear of the recovery of Norton's and will attend to debts when he is able. I am happy to hear of the recovery of your
family. I will attend to your situation as to debts, whenever an
opportunity offers. Send Colo. Nicholas's note to Mr. Wood, to be
delivered to me, and I will see if I cannot continue to have it
paid in some form or other - Mrs. Nicholas is very low indeed:
and to my judgment is threatened with a speedy dissolution.
