your Obligation for =£450 payable the
1st. Janry next - Having sold him
property to nearly the Amount, we
are desirous to know if you can give
any positive assurance of the pay:
=ment when due - Indeed Mr. An:
=derson mentioned that you expected
to be albe to pay the whole or at least
a part of the above in the Month of June
next, but would not engage to do so
before the period fixed - Our Motive
for addressing you is, that we wish
to make some payments in the course
of the ensuing Winter, but cannot do
it
