Caroline Octor. 28th 1790

Sir,

I have sent my Son up to you
for payment of my Acct. agt.
you, I have made a purchase
of land from Mr. Robert Baylor
who I hoped would have called on
you for what you owe me
as I gave him an order on you
for it, I am obliged to pay him
in a few days & hope you will
not fail to send down the money
by my Son or I must sell wha[t]
little I have made by hard Labour to
pay Mr. Baylor. I am Sir
yr. mo. obt<.sup>. Set
