Dr Sir
I was much surprised at being in=
=formed by Colo: Carrington, that two of
your drafts on Mr Grymes, were not paid
for want of funds; on your assurances of er
=tainty of payment, I was induced to ad
vance you money, the disappointmet not on
=ly operates disagreeable [crossed out, illegible] me me in a private
capacity, but particularly so, as a public
Officer; I hope you will not neglect,
when present, to pay the money to Colo:
Carrington.
