Philadelphia May 26. 1793.

[illegible] you [illegible] rough statement
[illegible] pressed for time, that I cannot make
[illegible] The particulars, if not strictly right,
are [illegible] I ever can make them. For in transac
t[ions] of this kind, we are always too loose. However I am
[illegible] certain, that I am at least within the true mark
of what is due - Can you aid me as to the balance by a
credit on Richmond or Alexandria? Let me hear from
you, at either or rather both of those places, whether I shall
go in a very few days.

We all join in our wishes for your
and family, happiness; and I am My dear sir
your affectionate friend
