Dear Sir
your last favour was dated the 22 of
Septr Since which I have not had a line
from England My Son Surely has forgot
he has a Mother or Something extraordinary
Must have Prevented his writing as he
well knew I Should be Anxious to hear
of his Safe Arrival for which I was
beholden to chance am now in expectation
of Seeing him Some time this Month
as your Son informs me he would come
out in february he May be full in Six weeks
you need not fear a Disappointment this
year there is Such quantitys of Tobao in
the Country
you will reieve this by My Son Willm
who goes over to Settle with you for His
his last Cargo and to Send out another
if Cary Collects with Success this Court
have confidence enough in your friendship

to believe you will take upon you to
advise him in whatever you think
will be to his advantage hitherto he
has Maintaind the Character of a
Prudent youn Man & I hope will
continue to Do so however a little
Caution cant come amiss to a young
Person. to you and My good Mrs
Norton Do I recommend him and as
he talks of a longer Stay than I think
will be necessary for his business intreat
you to hasten him back as Soon as
Possible your Son has quite recoverd
his Healt is grown fat and looks
well not a word of renewing the
old affair So hope all will end well
if I should not have time to write
to Mrs Norton by this Ship am
