Sir,
We received a Letter from Mr John Fisher making us an Offer for
the purchase of our small estate at Brentwood, but as it appears very
low, we have declined accepting it, as indeed we should any made Us,
who ae wholly Ignorant of the value of the Estate; We have joined in a
Power of Attorney to you and son to dispose of the estate, wch we are
advised will enable you to convey the Land to the purchaser, but if they
choose rather to have the conveyance sent here to be signed by Us, we
shall be ready to do so, & to abide by any contract you shall make in Our
behalf, reposing entire confidence in your procuring the best price,
that can be had, & begging your favr. in giving Us the earliest intelligence
after the sale, as Mrs Taylor, who is to have the money, has Occasion
of it. We hope upon that prospect, if not from Rents received, you
will venture to send her the goods in the inclosed Invoice. We are
with esteem & thanks for former favrs.
Sir,
Yo. mo. hble Servts.
