Mr. John Norton
The litle acquaintance I had of you before
you left this Colony join'd to the Solicitations of your Son, has induc'd
me to make trial of your ability in selling Tobacco with 2 hhds,
which now goes in the Brilliant to your address. In the disposal
of which I doubt not you doing the most for my Interest which
may encourage a further Correspondence to mutual satisfaction.
On the other side is a note of some Goods which you will
please send me by your first Ship to Virginia due care I hope
will be taken in choosing them. I very Respectully am
