Virginia 2d. August 1770

Dear Sir

Inclosed you'l receive some Letters for the old Lady
which you'l greatly oblige your friends my family who
they are from. I should have wrote my Self but have not
time, but shall by the first Ship. I wrote you a few
days ago by Capt. Robinson about my Bill for Docking
the Entail of my Land, pray my Dear friend exert
your Self for me in this affair, as my whole dependance
to maintain a most numerous family is on the
Success of the passage of this Bill.
