Williamsburg 16^th. May 1771

Dear Sirs,

Within these few Days I have sent
you by Cap^t. Baron eleven Bills amounting to
£2442..17.4 Stg. on Acc^t. of the Treasury, as by inclosed
List & the Duplicates of each. Col^o. Archibald Cary's
Bill on your House for £120 is drawn on a Quantity
of Iron, which he intends to ship you by Cap^t.
Woodford & which he desires you will insure;
he has promised me to ship you some Tob^o.
in Gooseley; this I hope will be the Commence:
ment of a Correspondence equally agreeable
& advantagious to you both. The Expenses of all
Bills remitted on Acc^t. of the Treasury you'll
be pleased to charge to that Account.
