Virginia Providence New Kent County. May 16th, 1771

Gentlemen

Inclos'd is an Invoice for Goods to the amount of about
£400. Sterling which we shall be oblig'd to you to ship us by
the first ship to James or York Rivers & Insure the same. We should
be glad to have them in here for the Fall Market, and
shall be carefull in Remitting you for them within
the usual time of your general Credit. If agreeable to
you to send them on those Terms but if not you
will please give us as early notice as possible which
will oblige
