Dear Sir

The two Hogsheads of Tobacco left out by Capt
Goosley are now on board Capt Robertson who I understand is
loaded and will Sail very soon. Inclosed is an Invoice of
some Goods I want and shall expect by one of your Ships next
Spring. On Wednesday the 25th. Instant Lord Dunmore our
Governor arrived at his House in this City and the same day
took upon himself the Government It is said he is Generous and
Good Natured and that the People of New York parted with -
him very unwillingly so that we have good reason to hope he will
be agreeable here.

I have made bold to trouble you with -
a Packet for Mr. Horrocks and must beg the favour of forwarding
to him if in London if not you make keep it til his return as there
is nothing in it so urgent 'as to answer the Expence of a -
heavy Postage into the Country.

I am often obliged to you for the Chronicle the
