I have Sent to your Address 24 Hhds Tobo. pr the Pitt Captn. Chess-
man, 4 do. pr. the Virginia Captn. Robertson, which I wish safe to Port, and
a good Market. 12 more whom Captn. Robertson could not possibly take
on Board, were relanded at Lyttlepages, to be Ship'd you (Mr. J.H.. Norton
promising to do) in a few weeks.
Inclos'd you have an Invoice of
Sundry merchandizes, which you'll get agreeable to the prices Annex'd
or as near thereto as possible, and Ship 'em by the earliest oppty, chch.
I beg may not exceed Feby. or March, as I am at present in want of
such Goods. I expect you'll get 'em on the very best Terms; and as for
further Remittances, you may rely on the Strickest punctuality, agreeable,
to your mode of Trade; of whch. Mr J.H. Norton have already advis'd
me of.
The good opinion I have [torn, illegible]

-mended you to me; are the peculiar Reasons I am desirous to contract
a Correspndence with your House: whch I hope may Terminate to our
mutual Advantage.
