Dear Sir.
I wrote you the 20th. Insta. inclosing
you a Bill drawn by your J.H.N., on your House
for eighty pounds Sterlg, which I desired you would
place to the credit of Mrs. Rebecca Chamberlayne, &
was intended to pay for the Charriott Mr Claiborne wrote
you to have made for her; at same time advised you that
she had given her sister Taylor all her share of the
English Estate, and that she requested you would place -
the money arising from the sale and all expence attending
the same, to the private account of her sister, and that
you would transmit to Mrs Chamberlayne her Acct.
Curt. with you.
I now inclose you the second Bills
of the setts of Excha. above mentioned, and am to
acknowledge the receipt of your Lre of the 18th. of July
with my Acct. Curt., in which I think there is a
mistake of 19/6 to my prejudice, but can not point
it out, so I have no copy of the Amount from which
you take the balce. of £11..13.. 11 and which I must

therefore trouble you to send me. I think I desired in my
last that you would add to my Invoice two hampers of best
bottled porter and a dozen packs of playing Cards.
I beg leave to trouble you to forward the Lrs you
will recieve under cover with this, as soon as they get to
hand and you will oblige
Dr Sir
Your Friend & Servt.
