half years Salary as Commissary ending the 25th. day of -
April last now if Mr. Horrocks or any Person for him has received
the Salary due to that time then the £50 Bill now sent may
be returned. I have wrote to Mr. William Cocke advising of
the death of his father whose Will is in my possession by -
which he has appointed Richard Henry Lee, Richard Lee
Thomas Jett and my self Executors but as Mr. Cocke is a -
careful prudent Man and well qualified to take the Adm[inistrati]on
of the Estate on himself I have recommended it to him to do so
the Executors I imagine will not Act.

Having wrote several times lately to Mr.
Horrocks I forbear writing by this Conveyance in expectation
of hearing form you what affect his Voiage to Oporto may have

should it please God not to restore him to Health which I have
too much reason to fear he has but a poor chance for I doubt not
of a continuance of your good offices to Mrs. Horrocks and -
should be glad she would take the first good Opportunity of
returning to her friends here. Whatever she may be in need
of for that purpose I will be answerable for - Present my
unfeigned thanks to Mrs. Norton for her many kindnesses
and be assured that I am Dear Sir
