Robert Carter Nicholas letter to John Norton, merchant of London, England. Nicholas writes that he has given his bill for £50 to Thomas Everard for the benefit of his daughter, Frances Horrocks, whose husband died while they were in England. Nicholas also writes that he has heard from Norton's son, John Hatley Norton, who has gone to the springs for his healt and is well.

Dear Sirs.
My Neighbour Mr. Everard being desi:
rous of making a Remittance to his Daughter
Mrs. Horrocks, for whom I have a great Esteem,
I have given him my Bill of this Date for £50 stg, & for
the better Accomodation of the Lady, have drawn
it at 10 Days Sight. I yesterday heard from Mr.
J.H.N. at the Springs, where he is in high Spirits,
& according to his Message, in better Health,
than he ever enjoy'd. I am, Dr. Sirs,
