Sir
I wrote you when I was last in
Williamsburg that Mr Ambler & Mr
Jameson differed in opinion in regard to the
Rent of yr Fathers House: the former of
those Gentlemen tho he did not chuse to
fix it mentioned 25lb the latter 30lb
Provided it was Put into Tenantable Repair
which he did not think it was at Present
I have therefore got the favour of Col Digges
to look at the House, and acquainted him
with the opinion of the two first mentioned
Gentlemen and he thought it just to fix
the Rent at twenty seven Pounds ten Shillings
which I am willing to Pay
M Goosley
