Dear Sir.
You will receive this by Mr. James
Stevenson, who intends to wait upon the Bishop
of London to be ordain'd. He was born & bred in
this City & is a young Man of such good Character,
that I cannot but recommend him to your
favourable Regard, especially as I know how
much Pleasure you always take in shewing Civi-
lities & Kindness to Men of Merit. I am, Dr. Sir,
Yr. affte. & mo. obt. Servt.
