Glasgow 15th. July 1773

Sir,

I duely received yours of the 12th. June, & should have
wrote you before now, but delayed till I could for certain inform you
when I should sail for Virginia which will not be till the last of the
Month, as there are no Vessells that will sail for York River sooner
& it would be attended with Expence & Inconvenience to go to any other.
I am much obliged to you for sending a Copy of Invo. of Goods & Account
of Sales of the Tobo. Please to present my best Respects to Mrs Norton
& Family, & am very respectfully
