Dear Sir
I am just come to this City, and hear
that Captn. Esten is at York, and will sail
Tomorrow. I gave orders for eight Hhds of Tobo.
to be put on board the Virginia, but know not if
they are shipped, as I have not lately seen Esten,
or received any Bill of lading. I shall by
next opportunity send my Invoice, which will be
short, not having occasion for many things from
London now. no doubt you heard of my misfortune
in the loss of Mrs. Lyons, who died in February, &
left me the care of seven Babes. I hear
Robinson is arrived, but have no Letter by him.
shall write you more fully soon, and for the present
conclude, with best wishes towards you and your
good Family
Dr Sir
Your very Hble Servt.
