York Augt. ye 9th. 1773

Dear Sir

Mrs. Page has sent some Thngs to Mrs.
Bedford to be altered; & as we know not
what the Cost may be, nor can procure
a small Bill or Cash to send her, I have
made so free as to draw an Order on you
for the it. If therefore you will pay
her a Sum not exceeding ten Pounds
you will much oblige me - I really
am sorry to be so troublesome to you
but hope you will excuse me, &
believe me to be your much
obliged
hble. Servt. &c
