Wmsburg. 4th April 1783

Sir,

I have red your favour by M Nelso
I have never gone into a settlement cannot
therefore form any Idea how it stands,
M Holmes is now on his way to Albemarle,
and will not Probably return before the last
of this Month, he will as early as Possible
finally settle our Company Books & Accounts,
as soon as compleated I will advise you;

I am anxious for the Completion of this
Business. I expect I may be obliged to Europe
this summer for recovery of a Complaint near
my Eye, before I go, I will certainly close our
Accts. and make a final settlement with you.

It will take sometime to close the Boooks,
