Mr John Norton

Sir

We received your favour of the 14^th Ult^o
we refer you to our of the 5^th June 1780, wherein we ~
Inclosed you a very particular State of all the Acco^ts relating
to the Boat Pamilla & Cargo with origanal Letters & papers
which after your perusual we desired might be returned
but we never heard from you on that Subject, till yours
of last month, We now Inclose you copy of the Sales of
the Cargo with outfit and charges, and a State of your Acco^t
which is exactly agreeable to what we before sent you
only ^to the Credit for 305 p^s 3 betts & 3 Stevers, we have added 4 p^s
received for Staves for which we have Accounted to you at
the same rate as the other part of the Cargo was sold for
which in place of £2119..8~ p Acco^t rendered reduces your ~
Ballance to £1554..8 - with Interest from the 20^th December
1779 till paid, this ballance we think you [crossed out, illegible] ought to be
Accountable to us for in Tobacco at £20 - p [illegible] we shall be glad
to hear from you on this Subject and when & were we are to
receive the Ballance we are
