Smithfield April 10th 1783
Sir/
We received your favour of the 14th Uutlo. we refer
you to ours of the 5th June 1780 wherein we inclos'd
you a very particular state of all the Accots. relat-
ing to the Boat Pamela & cargo, with all the
original letters & papers, which after your perusual
we desired might be returned, but we never heared
from you on that sugect, till of last month.
We now inclose you coppy of the sales of the cargo,
with outfit, & charges, and a state of your Accot..
sent you, only to the credit for 305 ps. 3 bits 3 stivers
we haved added 11ps.. received for staves for which we
have accounted to you at the same rate as the
other part of the cargo was sold for, which in place
of £2119..8. & Accot. rendered. Reduces your balance to
£1554..8. with interest from the 20th December 1779 till
paid. this balance we think you ought to be account-
able to us for in Tobacco at £20 [illegible] we shall be glad
to hear from you on this subject when and where
we are to receive this balance. we are &c.

last, which it is probable you may not have -
received, we shall be glad to have an answer as
