York Town Virga. May 27th. 1769

Dear Sir

I receiv'd your kind Letter p Cap. Robertson; Likewise
Yours and Mrs. Nortons, most Acceptable Present, for which,
Return you both many thanks: and for your being so thoughtful of
me as to make enquiries after me, I pray God bless you.

Am much Oblig'd to you for the Intelligence you give me
of my old Acquaintance [ms. torn] Mr. and Mrs. Lesingham, Cap: Dickson
and Mrs. Dickson, But sorry to hear of the Captain's Indisposition.

May this find you Mrs. Norton, Children and all the
Family in Good health, is the Sincere and hearty Prayer of him,
Who shall ever Esteem it a happiness to Subscribe himself
