Battersea near Petersburg
15th June 1789.

Sir

I wrote you in the Month
of April last respecting your Bond for
Geo: Anderson for £450 payle 1. Jany
next, which he assigned to Neill Buchanan
& Duncan Rose acting Executors of John
Bannister decd., to which I have never
been favored with any Answers - I am
anxious to know when payment of the
said Bond may be expected, as Mr. Anderson
assured us that you would pay a large
proportion of it in the Fall, but I wish
to hear from yourself on the Subject, in
order that I may enter into engagments
accordingly - I shall expect the favor
of an Answer & I remain respectfully
